Employment law

A begin of industrialization, was also a begin of employment law. It was in the 19th century. The legislation of employment rights has increased in the 20th century. English employment acts :
The 1978 Employment Protection Act, the 1970 Equal Pay Act, the 1976 Race Relations Act and the 1975 and 1986 Sex Discrimination Acts. EC acts and rights : the 1950 Shops Act, the right to strike, the 1984 Trade Union Act. Today all the following rights and acts are very important to ensure a good conditions for employers and employees. Japanese have fewer employment rights than Western countries. One of the main features are that the workers have to work very long hours and often do not ask for overtime payment, also it is unusual for employee to take legal action against his employer. Japanese workers enjoy more security than many employees in western countries..
